This Mercedes Benz E-Class A207 C207 Door Courtesy LED Projector Lamp is the custom design for cool “showy” stuff on Benz E-Class 2-doors Coupe and Convertible model. This integrated LED offers direct replacement where no modification of the live wire or boring of a hole on the panel. This improved version uses aluminum as its top cap for more efficient heat dissipation compares to the older predecessor which users a black plastic cover and thus prolongs its life.
This item is the direct plug and play type drawing the original 12V DC connector supplying the voltage to the original yellowish door courtesy light. The existing light cover can be pried out using a nylon pryer tool or simply using a test pen. Hence, there shall be absolutely no workshop intervention required for such a swap.
