This BMW iDrive Control Knob Aluminium Trim will transform the small stock plastic into a luxurious look and feel on your BMW. It’s hard to comprehend until you operate your iDrive with this big aluminium knob trim personally. There are 2 models namely for 5 buttons & 7 buttons model of iDrive. There will be no through light on the dial for the 5 buttons model while for the 7 buttons model, you will need to remove the black cap using a super fine flathead screwdriver to allow the illumination on the new button trim.
Indeed, the application is straightforward where you just need to peel off the 3M adhesive backing inside the trim and cup it over the stock knob.
