Application preparation is very important and should not be overlooked. Before applying the primer, clean the surface with a mild liquid detergent or an alcohol wipe. Next, wipe dry the surface with a clean lint-free cloth. Any traces of grease or wax will prevent your 3M tape work at its optimum results.

Application:
Shake the 3M Primer well before use. Apply a thin uniform coat onto the surface using the bottle cap brush while ensuring the primer is spread over the surface. Allow primer 94 to dry briefly for around 1 minute before applying the 3M double-sided adhesive tape. Ensure the surface is free from contaminants prior to applying the fixture.

There is a great difference in terms of bonding without and without applying this 3M Primer. Hence, never skip this step if you wish to have lasting holding power.
